Super Mario Maker 2

The original Super Mario Maker for Wii U and, later, 3DS was a delightful game that opened up the Mushroom Kingdom to the imagination of creative fans. We'll soon see the release of Super Mario Maker 2, but how do you improve on such a runaway success?

First of all, you bring it to the wildly successful Nintendo Switch, a console that sold more units in 10 months than the Wii U did in its lifetime. Then, you add more tools, more styles, more enemies, more content--more everything! Want to design a course in the style of Super Mario 3D World, complete with Cat Mario? You can do that! Want to add a slope or change the clear goal? You can do that, too! Third, add collaborative building and gameplay--what better way to create and experience Super Mario levels than with your friends? And if you really want to complete the package, you add a Story Mode where building courses is all part of reconstructing Peach's castle.
